Attention: Prospective Students

We have received a large volume of FAFSA applications for the 2018-19 academic year which do not match any UC admission applications.

If you listed UCI on your financial aid application and applied for admission to UCI, it is important that you carefully compare the date of birth and social security number you reported on your FAFSA with the information you reported on your UC admission application.

IF THEY DO NOT MATCH, visit this link and follow the instructions provided to fix this information. IF YOU DO NOT DO SO, WE WILL BE UNABLE TO AWARD YOU AID.

NOTE: If you are a California DREAM applicant who applied for admission to UCI and have not received an email from us confirming that we have received your DREAM application, please contact us directly at (949)824-8262 or so we can assist you in resolving this issue.

Renovation of our Front Lobby (new location until late February)

As part of our continued commitment to enhance our service, we are in the process of renovating our front lobby and anticipate completion by late February. We have temporarily relocated to our satellite office next to the University Registrar at 215 Aldrich Hall, Windows 6&7.

You can submit your 2018-19 FAFSA/California DREAM Application now

The 2018-19 FAFSA and California DREAM Application is now available! The application deadline for FAFSA/DREAM Application remains March 2nd, so you will be able to submit your application anytime between October 1st and March 2nd. If you are a prospective student, you can expect to receive your financial aid offer from us after you have been admitted.

The income information used to complete your 2018-19 FAFSA/DREAM Application will be based on tax year 2016, not 2017, so you should already have everything you need to complete your application. If you are a FAFSA filer, we highly recommend using the Data Retrieval Tool when completing your application because it will speed the processing of your financial aid.
