The deadline for submitting the 2020-21 FAFSA / California DREAM Application is March 2nd

The 2020-21 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and California DREAM Application submission deadline is March 2nd.

The income information used to complete your 2020-21 FAFSA/DREAM Application will be based on tax year 2018, not 2019, so you should already have everything you need to complete your application.

If you are a FAFSA filer, we highly recommend using the Data Retrieval Tool when completing your application because it will speed the processing of your financial aid.

Continuing Students: Applying for 2020-21 UCI Campus-Wide Scholarships

Selected for Verification?

Have you received notification from our office that your financial aid file has been selected for verification?

If so, make sure you submit the requested documents by the deadline indicated. Failing to submit your documents on time could jeopardize your financial aid award.

If you are an entering student and your financial aid award is no longer available on My Aid you should check My Aid Status for documents that are needed.

Do you know about the Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan?

UC's Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan will cover systemwide fees for most California residents whose families qualify for financial aid and earn less than $80,000 for 2014/15. More information is available at
