Proposed mid-year fee increase
The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is in the process of preparing for the proposed mid-year fee increase. The fee levels will not be known until after the November 19 meeting of the UC Regents. If a fee increase is approved, we will be revising financial aid awards to recognize any additional costs.
Most student who receive a Cal Grant A, Cal Grant B or a UC Irvine grant will receive additional grant support to cover the fee increase. Other students will be offered additional loan support to cover the increase.

November ZotBill delayed
To ensure accuracy, the November billing cycle will be delayed until after the November 19 meeting of the UC Regents. Your November bill will be posted after the Regents meet and vote on registration fees, and will be due on December 15, 2009.
Office Hours Changed to 10am-5pm M-F
Beginning October 1, hours for the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships changed to 10am-5pm, Monday through Friday. These reduced service hours are necessary given budget cuts and staff furloughs.

Scholarships Resource Center Fall Quarter drop-in hours
Interested in learning more about scholarships? Visit the Scholarship Resource Center during our drop-in hours on Tuesdays from 2-4 PM or Thursdays from 10 AM - 12 PM. Our scholarships staff offers personalized counseling and assistance to help students locate or apply for scholarships.
Drop-in hours are held in the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, 102 Aldrich Hall. Please email kimberly.johnson@uci.edu with questions or to request an appointment.
