Eligibility Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a community or junior college in Los Angeles County (or to students residing in Los Angeles County and commuting to a community or junior college in Orange County)
- Applicant must be a California resident who attended a California high school for at least two semesters.
- Applicant’s year of birth must be during or after 1983
- Minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5
- Applicants should reflect the mission of the LAJCC (to recognize students in Los Angeles County and Orange County who show exceptional potential to become future leaders and/or contributors in the community)
- Emphasis on community service and other extra-curricular activities, academic performance, and one’s personal statement
