Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship

Application Deadline: Fall/Summer: March 4; Spring: October 1

Award Amount: Up to $5,000

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be Pell Grant eligible
  • Attending a study abroad program that is at least 4 weeks and no longer than one academic year
  • Full-time enrollment during the regular academic year
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Preference for students traditionally under-represented in study abroad such as those studying in countries other than western Europe, Australia and New Zealand, ethnic minorities and students in under-represented fields such as engineering and the sciences
