James Madison Graduate Fellowships

Award Amount: $24,000

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Individuals desiring to become outstanding teachers of the American Constitution at the secondary school level;
  • US Citizen, United States Nationals or Permanent Residents of the Northern Mariana Islands;
  • Teachers of American History, American Government, Social Studies or Political Science for grades 7-12;
  • Teaching full-time during the year in which you apply for a fellowship;
  • Under contract or can provide evidence of being under prospective contract to teach full-time;
  • Highly recommended by their Department Heads, School Heads, School District Superintendents or other Supervisors;
  • Qualify for admissions with graduate standing at an accredited university and attend full-time.
