Eligibility Requirements:

For more than 50 years, The Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society has proudly served as the 501(c)(3) philanthropic affiliate of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. Foundation contributors can fulfill their charitable interests in the medical community by contributing to three core programs.

The Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society sustains the future of medicine in Pennsylvania by providing programs that support medical education, physician health, and excellence in practice. This medical scholarship is made possible by a memorial contribution from Mrs. Elena Pascal and Ms. Carla Vigilante in honor of their parents, Drs. Siegfried and Vigilante.

  • Applicant must be a resident of Berks, Lehigh, or Northampton County
  • Applicant must be entering the first year of medical school.
  • Applicant must be enrolled full time in an accredited United States medical school.
