Entering and Continuing Teacher Education Students

Students enrolling in the Teacher Education Program (TCP) are eligible for a variety of financial aid resources.

TCP students who apply for financial aid are classified as undergraduate students for financial aid purposes. Therefore, TCP students are eligible for Pell Grants.  TCP students, however, pay graduate level fees.

The primary goal of our office is to assist you in financing your UCI education. We hope our website will provide the resources to do just that.

Please make sure you check your "My Aid" file to verify the status of your application.  In addition, please promptly read any messages we send to you via e-mail to ensure you meet all deadlines.

We wish you the best in your academic endeavors.

About UCI

The State of California requires that you be told the following:
Federal student loans are available to most students regardless of income and provide a range of repayment options including income-based repayment plans and loan forgiveness benefits, which other education loans are not required to provide.
