La Verne Noyes Scholarship

Application Deadline: May 25, 2018

Award Notification: July 2018

Award Amount: Up to $1,000

Application Submission Process: Students must submit the La Verne Noyes Scholarship application to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships in 102 Aldrich Hall. Students must also complete the following:

  1. Submit the 2018-19 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 2. The FAFSA application is available on the web at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
  2. Submit additional documentation as required

The scholarship is awarded to a recipient who is a U.S. Citizen and is a blood descendant of a United States Army or United States Navy World War I veteran. Veteran must have served for at least four (4) months prior to November 11, 1918. Veteran's military service must have been terminated by death or an honorable discharge.

Eligibility Requirements

  • United States Citizen
  • Must be enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking undergraduate program at the University of California, Irvine
  • Financial need and academic standing will be considered in the selection process
