Basic Eligibility Requirements

  • California residents who are U.S. Citizens, eligible non-citizens, or meet AB540 eligibility criteria
  • Family income below $80,000
  • Have financial need, as determined for federal need-based aid

Annual Amount

Varies, will cover systemwide registration fees that are not already covered by other gift aid.

Enrollment Requirements

At least half-time status.

Lifetime Limit

Be in your first four years as a UC undergraduate (first two for transfer students).

Non-CA Residents admitted effective Fall 2016 and after are not eligible for these awards.
