UC Irvine Department Scholarships, Stipends, Fellowships, Etc.

Many of the academic departments and campus organizations have opportunities to earn scholarships, stipends, fellowships, internships or other similar opportunities. These opportunities are administered directly by the departments.

We encourage students to contact their school/department to learn about opportunities through their major.

School of Humanities
Through the generosity of many donors, the School of Humanities awards over 30 scholarships per year to UCI undergraduates. Awards are primarily given to students pursuing a major in the school. Only a few of the scholarships are selected via application process. Students eligible to apply for scholarships are notified in winter quarter regarding the application process. The academic departments select other award recipients in accordance to criteria specified by the donor. Questions regarding the awards and scholarships available within the School of Humanities, may be directed to Brittney Pinney (breuter@uci.edu), Director, Humanities Undergraduate Study.

School of Physical Sciences
The School of Physical Sciences offers scholarships through the annual UC Irvine on-line scholarship application for continuing students. Physical Science students are encouraged to apply for these scholarships through their "My Aid" account beginning January 15.
