Award Amount: $1,000

Application Submission Process: Submit an on-line scholarship application which will be available Monday, January 15, 2018 on "My Aid". Applicants must also submit a resume to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, 102 Aldrich Hall, by March 26, 2018.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Undergraduate student
  • Sophomore status
  • Civil or Environmental Engineering major
  • Full-time enrollment
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.1
  • Completed or in the process of completing CEE 11, 20, 30, and CEE 81A-B.
  • Continuing as a Civil or Environmental Engineering major as a junior with the intent to complete the Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Your personal statement must include your educational and career goals in civil and/or environmental engineering, why you chose to attend UCI, plans for graduate school and how your first two years at UCI have influenced these goals.
  • Applicants must also submit a resume to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, 102 Aldrich Hall, by March 26, 2018.
