MEDELLAS Scholarship

Application Deadline: Monday, March 26, 2018 11:59 PM

Award Notification: May 2018

Award Amount: $2,000 - $5,000

Application Submission Process: Submit an on-line scholarship application which will be available Monday, January 15, 2018 on "My Aid". Finalists will be invited to an interview in April.

Merit-based scholarship for Asian-American undergraduate students who plan to pursue graduate study in medicine, dentistry or law, and who meet the requirements below.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Asian-American descent
  • Undergraduate
  • 3.5 minimum cumulative GPA
  • Junior or Senior status
  • Demonstrated commitment to pursue graduate school and a career in the field of medicine, dentistry or law. Students may demonstrate their commitment by providing:
    1. Medicine, dentistry or law graduate school entrance examination scores or proof of registration to take such exams (submitted separately to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships by the application deadline, March 26, 2018), and/or
    2. Maintaining membership in one of the campus clubs or organizations that serve to prepare students for one of the above fields, and/or
    3. Demonstrated appropriate coursework that would be required for the specific graduate field.
