Irvine Onnuri Church Scholarship

Award Amount: Up to $2,000
Application Submission Process: Students must submit the Irvine Onnuri Church Scholarship application to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships at 102 Aldrich Hall. Students must also complete the following:
- Submit the 2017-18 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 2. The FAFSA application is available on the web at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Students who are not eligible to file a FAFSA and qualify for the AB 540 fee exemption waiver must submit a 2017-18 California Dream Act application. The California Dream Act application can be filed at www.csac.ca.gov.
- Submit additional documentation, as required.
Eligibility Requirements
The Irvine Onnuri Church Scholarships are open to students at the University of California, Irvine who meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Undergraduate student majoring in Korean Literature and Culture within the School of Humanities demonstrating Financial Need (as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships) or demonstrating need and academic excellence.
- Undergraduate or Graduate student that is a First Generation College Student demonstrating Financial Need (as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships).
- Undergraduate or Graduate student that is a Single Parent demonstrating Financial Need (as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships)
- Undergraduate or Graduate student registered with the UCI Disability Services Center (submit documentation) demonstrating Financial Need (as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships)
