Scholarships for current undergraduates are awarded to students who demonstrate a high level of academic achievement. Additionally, some scholarships are awarded with respect to financial need, or other specific criteria such as leadership, major or special skills.
UC Irvine On-line Scholarships Application
UC Irvine offers many scholarship opportunities for current undergraduate students through the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships' annual on-line scholarship application. Students apply through their "My Aid" account by logging in at www.ofas.uci.edu beginning Friday, January 15, 2010. The application deadline is Wednesday, March 31, 2010 11:59 PM.
Scholarships Awarded Through a Separate Application
Certain scholarships for continuing undergraduate students are awarded through a paper application process. UC Irvine Department Scholarships, Stipends, Fellowships, Etc.
Academic departments and campus organizations offer various scholarship opportunities. The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships recommends that students contact UC Irvine Departments with which they are involved to learn about scholarship opportunities. Each department has separate processes and criteria for the scholarships they administer.
