Schedule a financial aid help sessionBrilliant Future. The Campaign for UCI. Financial Aid Scholarships. Give to UCI

Our office establishes estimated costs of attendance covering educational expenses at UCI as well as the costs of a modest but adequate standard of living. These costs are updated annually.

Included in the cost of attendance are fees, books and supplies, room and board, and miscellaneous expenses.

The amount anyone spends depends greatly upon her or his own personal situation and choices. We encourage all students to utilize CashCourse to assist in budgeting their funds.

Students have choices about where they live while attending UCI: at home with parents or relatives; on campus in a residence hall or an apartment; or in an off-campus apartment. Each of these living arrangements has a different cost.

To assist you in planning, the budgets below are the estimated expenses for 2020-21.

The tuition, fees, and charges posted here are estimates based on currently approved amounts. These figures may not be final. Actual tuition, fees, and charges are subject to change by the Regents of the University of California and could be affected by State funding reductions. Accordingly, final approved levels (and thus a student's final balance due) may differ from the amounts shown.

If some or all instruction for all or part of Academic Year 2020-21 is delivered remotely, will there be a reduction to tuition or mandatory fees?
Some or all instruction for all or part of Academic Year 2020-21 may be delivered remotely. Tuition and mandatory fees have been set regardless of the method of instruction and will not be refunded in the event instruction occurs remotely for any part of the Academic Year.
