The Scholarships Resource Center is located in the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, 102 Aldrich Hall.

Make an appointment to visit the Scholarships Resource Center to learn more about scholarship opportunities. Our scholarships staff offers personalized counseling and assistance to help students locate and apply for scholarships. To make an appointment, please email scholarships@uci.edu. Make sure you list your availability in the email.

Scholarship Spotlight

Manuel N. Gomez Endowed Scholarship

Application due: May 15, 2012
Award Amount: $5,000 (two awards)

Eligibility Requirements:

• Current undergraduate student

• Have participated in an academic enrichment, academic outreach and/or academic preparedness program as a prospective student or as a currently enrolled UCI student

• Full-time enrollment for 2012-13 academic year

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA

• Open to all majors

• First in their family to attend college

• Financial need as determined by the UCI Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships

• Must provide one letter of recommendation

S.A.M.E. Orange County 2012-13 Scholarship

Application due: June 8th, 2012
Award Amount: $2,500 (three to four awards)

Eligibility Requirements:

• Major: Any engineering discipline

• Currently in sophomore or junior year

• GPA: 3.0 minimum in major and overall

J. Thomas Miles Memorial Scholarship

Application due: June 8th, 2012
Award Amount: $3,000

Eligibility Requirements:

• Be a junior or senior engineering major enrolled full time in the 2012-2013 academic year; and

• Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
