Brython P. Davis Scholarship

Application Deadline: May 24, 2019

Award Notification: July 2020

Award Amount: Up to $1,000

Application Submission Process: Students must submit the Brython P. Davis scholarship application to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships in 102 Aldrich Hall. Students must also complete the following:

  1. Submit the 2020-21 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 2. The FAFSA application is available on the web at
  2. Submit additional documentation, as required.

Eligibility Requirements

  • One of the applicant's parents must currently be, or have been, a regular member of either the United States Navy or Marine Corps.
  • Student must be enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking undergraduate program at the University of California, Irvine
  • Financial need and academic standing will be considered in the selection process for all scholarship applicants.
  • Official documents must be presented to verify the student's parent enlistment or honorable discharge. (i.e. enlistment records, honorable discharge certificates, certification letter from the Veterans Administration). Photocopies are acceptable
